Patrick Côté wins at UFC Fight Night BostonUFC Fight Night Boston this Sunday, January 17th, brought back to the octagon Patrick “the Predator” Côté (23-9-0) in the best form of his career, facing Ben Saunders.

The BTT Canada member, Côté, is today one of the most experience fighter on UFC, with 35 years old and reaching his 19th appearance in the most important MMA organization of the world, since the UFC 50 in 2002.

Patrick Côté vs Ben Saunders on the UFC Fight Night Boston

The fight against Saunders (19-6-2) started with both fighters studying each other with good body kicks, and while on clinch the Floridian took the game to the ground, landing on top and “The Predator” worked from the guard, presenting an amazing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

He tried an arm bar, transiting to pass the guard and them working a powerful ground and pound until the end of the round, defending very well each rubber guard attempt from Saunders, who had Eddy Bravo on his corner.

UFC Fight Night Boston Prelims Patrick Côté Batters Ben Saunders for Stoppage in BostonPatrick, a Black Belt Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, have been training alot in his camp with Master Fabio Holanda at BTT Canada, and the days in Massachusetts, he also had the help from Master Daniel Gazoni at BTT Boston, the evolution and the confidence of our Canadian’s jiu-jitsu has been outstanding.

In the second round of the UFC Fight Night Boston again both fighters used their kicks in the body. But Côté came with an amazing infighting technique, in a combinations of punches knocking down Ben Saunders, that was coming from three straight victories, and just waited for the referee, Steve Rita, intervention at 3:46 from the second round.

Patrick Cote TKO’s Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night BostonAnother astonishing performance in the octagon by Patrick “The Predator” Côté, now with six victories in the last seven bouts in the UFC, getting closer to surpass countryman Georges St-Pierre as the Canadian with the most fights in the UFC.
