Leonardo Cascão Saggioro BTT at the IBJJF Worlds 2017

Black Belt Leonardo “Cascão” Saggioro was the champion in our eyes, he lost via advantages.

In the quarter-finals and semi-finals, Leonardo took out two of the favorites to win and did a great job in the final.

Pan Am IBJJF 2017

The IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) Pan Am Championship kicked off on March 15, until Sunday, May 19, 2017.

Once again the BTT (Brazilian Top Team) competition team went strong with athletes from various schools and had very good results.

Mexico City Open IBJJF 2017

It is no news the growth of Brazilian jiu-jitsu throughout the world, the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) hosted its first championship in Mexico City this past weekend.

The Mexico City Open IBJJF championship was held at the Centro Nacional de Alto Rendimiento and had the Gi and No-Gi divisions.

Athletes from different countries represented dozens of schools and the Brazilian Top Team Competition Team had 4 guys that did an incredible performance: 6 gold medals, 1 silver, and 1 bronze, that’s 58 points (GI and No-Gi) for the team with only 4 competitors.

So, congratulations to Edgar Onyeagu (double GI and No-Gi division, bronze absolute No-Gi), Frank Cova (gold Gi, silver No-Gi), Mark Bunkley (gold No-Gi) and Pedro Torres (double gold No-Gi division and absolute).

On December 11, 2016, the IBJJF came to Long Beach and Brazilian Top Team was waiting to once again claim the team victory in the Long Beach Open.

Master Marcelo Perdomo led a focused team to domination against the many school conglomerates of Gracie Barra, Atos, Checkmate and others to once again prove BTT is the pound for pound best school for BJJ in Southern California.

Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu in Rio de Janeiro

Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu in Rio de JaneiroThe UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation hosted the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu Jitsu in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The event had hundreds of high-level athletes from all over the world.

BTT had two golds in the black belt division, Alexandre Cavaliere won the Gi 77kg division, while Alexandre Viera won the No-Gi 66 kg.

Great result by two of ours great athletes.

Brazilian Top Team at Fight to Win 15Fight to Win Tournament hosted its 15th edition in San Antonio Texas.

Fight to Win is a super fight tournament and Brazilian Top Team competition team had 5 athletes competing and 4 victories, incredible performance.

Linda Gutierrez (purple belt) defeated Rebecca vary via armbar, Matt Jones (purple belt) defeated David Shelley by decision. Ben Leny (brown belt) win over Osni Filho via armbar and got the Fight of the Night status.

The Leader of Brazilian Top Team San Antonio, Prof. Diego Gamonal stepped on the mat as well and won his match against Tony Erard via decision.

Patrick Cote faces Cowboy Cerrone in the UFC OttawaThe UFC Ottawa is set to arrive in Canada for the first time in 2016, next week, June 18, and the first time ever in the nation’s capital, Ottawa.

While Cowboy Cerrone moved to the 170-pound division in February after his title fight loss against Rafael Dos Anjos.

The Predator is today with 36 years old and reaching his 20th appearance in the organization, since the UFC 50 in 2002, with one “Fight of the Night” and two “Knockout of the Night” bonuses.

He is coming in his career’s best shape, more than a decade after making his UFC debut, and shows no signs of slowing down. With a win over Donald Cerrone next weekend could even earn himself a place in the Top 15 of this division.

She is also the founder and head coach of Unlimited Possibilities Martial Arts, an organization with the sole purpose of introducing martial arts to people with special needs.

By adapting techniques to meet the needs of each individual, she has been able to not only help her students improve physically, but mentally as well.
