BTT at 2010 Kids World BJJ Championships
by John Orr
Today started early as the squad needed to trek about 60 miles to the Riverside Convention Center for the 2010 Kids Worlds. We had high hopes coming off of 7 medals last weekend, and the kids did not disappoint.
13 Kids competed, and 8 medalled where they were put to compete. Three of those were either moved up weight classes or to older ages because nobody was in their bracket, and with that in the equation we took 12 medals.
Jake Orr took GOLD because nobody was in his group, then went 2 wins and 1 loss to take SILVER in the 9 year old division (he is only 8) like a true warrior to double medal.

Breaking News : Palhares fight moved
Rousimar Palhares training for Marquardt bout Photo by: Pedro Gonzalez
The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) has moved the bout between Brazilian Top Team fighter Rousimar "Toquinho" Palhares (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) x Nate Marquardt (29-9-2 MMA, 8-3 UFC) from UFC 118 to UFC Fight Night 22 main event.
Alan Belcher's unexpected injury forced him out of the main event and the UFC instead of finding a new opponent to face Demian Maia moved Palhares X Marquardt fight.
Both fighters will have an extra two-and-a-half weeks of training camp.
More news about Palhares camp soon.
